Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the development of Brink’s risk management solution which is built on Salesforce. The Salesforce Developer will work with the global risk team to deliver products and features to global teams to reduce the overall risk within the company. The position will focus on the administration and development of new applications and enhancements, as well as support of existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This role is ideally suited for a highly disciplined self-starter with deep knowledge of Salesforce administration and development along with solid collaboration & communication skills

  • The role will be blended between a Salesforce Administrator and a Salesforce Developer, with sixty percent (60%) of the time working as an administrator.

  • Knowledge with the skills to use Apex Classes, Apex triggers, Batch Apex, Schedule Classes and Visualforce pages

  • Develop Apex/Visualforce code, web portals, sites, pages, microsites and web application integrations

  • Perform technical analysis, design, development, implementation of Salesforce applications with necessary customization

  • Building business processes using Validation rules, Formula Fields, Workflow Rules, and Approval processes.

  • Manage and deploy integrations solution to work with business systems including and not limited to Workday, Salesforce, Fleet Management, Safety, Culture, DocuSign, and other business systems

  • Collaborate & communicate effectively with internal product team, business sponsor, executives, vendors, and stakeholders

  • Perform code reviews with external development resources to ensure best practices are followed

  • Produce technical documentation for Salesforce processes

  • Troubleshoot, support and fix defects for planned releases and production issues

  • Collaborate with the team to refine and clarify business stories

  • Work with the team to plan out long- and short-term releases with milestones

  • Help drive areas of improvement for the product, team and individually

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have multiple years of demonstrated proficiency in Salesforce design, development, and architecture

  • Experience with Agile Development methods

  • Individual must be a confident team player who is able to collaborate well with others, mentor new team members and provide constructive feedback

  • An ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 years’ experience working experience as a Salesforce Developer working in Lighting with: Apex programming, SOAP & REST Apex web services, Force.com APIs

  • Salesforce Platform Administrator Certification

  • Salesforce Platform Developer Certification

Professional Skills:

  • Interpersonal effectiveness: able to establish, maintain, and foster positive and harmonious working relationships. Willing and able to work in a fast-paced, team environment

  • Communication skills: able to communicate effectively, including preparation and development of clear, concise, and accurate reports

  • Strong organizational and time management skills: able to work independently, handle multiple projects simultaneously.
